Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Welcome 2009, today is the first day of 2009! Today morning at 12.00am, many people were counting down at different place at Singapore. But for me the first second of 2009, I was sleeping! I miss the countdown!

Hope this year everything will go smoothly for everyone, although this year the economy crisis will not be completely over yet but hope it will get better than last year.

Hope everyone will be healthy and also hope my project will finish on time!

Bye bye 2008, Hello 2009! the year 2008 is ending soon in a few hours time many people all around the world are very excited for the year 2009 and brand new year and a brand new start.

This year is a bit special, as this year is another special year, no should not say is special, should say is the longer year because we have 1 extra second compare to the previous years.

The reason why this year got extra second is because due to the earth is becoming slower thus it increase 1 second for this year.

So guys remember, when go count down, you need to count like this: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, happy new year!

Singapore Flyer

Due to technical problem, Singapore flyer stop functioning till new year which is 2009. This has cause nearby restaurant, gift shop etc lose money. Especially restaurant because Singapore flyer has stop functioning, many people cancel their booking and ask when the flyer start running again. Even though it was technical error and nobody wants it to happen, but during Christmas, many shop did not do well due to the flyer malfunctioning. Hope we can see Singapore Flyer functioning again soon!

Singapore Flyer's builder arrives as police probe breakdown incident

SINGAPORE: The chairman of the company that built the Singapore Flyer – the world's biggest observation wheel – arrived in Singapore on Friday.

A Singapore Flyer spokesperson confirmed that Florian Bollen, chairman of locally-headquartered Great Wheel Corp, is here but declined any further comment, other than to say he flies regularly in and out of the country.

The company is also building observation wheels in Beijing, Berlin and Orlando.

Police are currently investigating Tuesday night's disruption that trapped scores of people on board the Singapore Flyer for nearly seven hours. Operations at the Flyer have been suspended.

Police have said it would only be allowed to resume operations once it has been certified safe by an internationally recognised body that assesses safety standards for amusement rides.

Now rewatching Seigi no Mikata. This show is about a 15-year-old Yoko, a young girl who is constantly tormented by her self-centered and devilish older sister Makiko, who works for a government office after having graduated from a famous university. But despite her ill nature, Makiko's actions tend to somehow make things better for those around her, causing others to praise her as an "ally of justice."

Wah this week really eat A LOT of FOOD! First is Tuesday my birthday, eat chocolate cake, then Wednesday Me, wei xiong, roger, ec, alvin and lizhi, we go seoul garden and eat and also receive 2 hitman reborn poster from wx, alvin ec and roger. Thanks Guys! Then Thursday go sakura eat again. The food there is NICE, very nice. Die die must go try. Got pizza, sushi, dim sum, turkey, steak, cake, ice cream, shark fin, prawns, fish, fried rice, salad, noodle, duck and fruits, eat until you explode!

This week really eat too much, must go exercise if not overweight liao.

Yay finally 20 years old, thanks everyone who wishes me happy birthday! thank you :)

Today I went for Napfa test, even though I fail the test, but i still quite satisfied with my performance because I improve my sit-up,shuttle run and 2.4km. I was freaking happy when I pass my 2.4km because I finally push myself to pass and thanks to the instructor who lead us during the 2.4km. Really thank him so much, if not my 2.4km sure fail.

Their deployment as a makeshift missile robbed President George Bush of his dignity and landed their owner in jail. But the world's most notorious pair of shoes have yielded an unexpected bonanza for a Turkish shoemaker.

Ramazan Baydan, owner of the Istanbul-based Baydan Shoe Company, has been swamped with orders from across the world, after insisting that his company produced the black leather shoes which the Iraqi journalist Muntazar al-Zaidi threw at Bush during a press conference in Baghdad last Sunday.

Baydan has recruited an extra 100 staff to meet orders for 300,000 pairs of Model 271 - more than four times the shoe's normal annual sale - following an outpouring of support for Zaidi's act, which was intended as a protest, but led to his arrest by Iraqi security forces.

Orders have come mainly from the US and Britain, and from neighbouring Muslim countries, he said.

Around 120,000 pairs have been ordered from Iraq, while a US company has placed a request for 18,000. A British firm is understood to have offered to serve as European distributor for the shoes, which have been on the market since 1999 and sell at around £28 in Turkey. A sharp rise in orders has been recorded in Syria, Egypt and Iran, where the main shoemaker's federation has offered to provide Zaidi and his family with a lifetime's supply of shoes.

To meet the mood of the marketplace, Baydan is planning to rename the model "the Bush Shoe" or "Bye-Bye Bush".

"We've been selling these shoes for years but, thanks to Bush, orders are flying in like crazy. We've even hired an agency to look at television advertising," he said.

Zaidi has been in custody since the shoe-throwing incident, amid claims that he has been badly beaten. He faces a possible jail sentence for insulting a foreign leader, but has reportedly apologised and requested a pardon from Iraq's prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki.

Ah finally finish watching Liar Game. Nice show sia, recommended show must watch lol. Next show I am going to rewatch is attention please, is about a girl who like rock music and is quite a tomboy wanted to become a air stewardess. In order to become one, she have to go through lessons and test before she can qualify to become one. But can she pass? Try and watch it quite nice! and its also very funny :)





Synopsis:

Losing her mother at a young age, Misaki Yoko (Ueto Aya) was raised amongst three brothers. Yoko is a slightly boyish girl who is bullheaded and hates dishonesty. Ever since she was young, she enjoyed the company of boys over girls. She starts a band with four of her boy friends and becomes the lead singer. Then one day, one of the members of the band, Tsukasa, gets a job at a bank in Tokyo. Due to Tsukasa leaving town, the band breaks up and though Yoko finds herself lonely, she puts on a strong act in front of Tsukasa. She can't tell Tsukasa how she truly feels for him. On the day Tsukasa leaves for Tokyo, Yoko goes along with the band members to the airport to see him off. The guys get excited when they see some cabin crew ladies and Yoko has no idea why. She reminds them that even she can wear a uniform, but the guys only make fun of her. That's when Tsukasa tells Yoko he wonders what she'd look like dressed in uniform. This is when Yoko decides she wants to work as a Cabin Attendant.

Liar Game

Another japan drama that I an rewatching, Liar Game. Nice and very interesting show. Kanzai Nao is a very honest person who get cheated easily. But on one day she was invited to join this game called "Liar Game". In the first round she have to cheat her opponent who is her middle school teacher, but she was too nice and doesnt want to win this game and also she trust her teacher too much and in the end she got cheated. After that she a Akiyama who is a genius swindler who got caught 3 years ago. Now they will work together to overcome this "Liar Game!". Those games are quite interesting, you can try it out with your friend, but off course not with money LOL.

Plot:

Nao Kanzaki, a honest college student, receives 100 million yen (about $1,000,000) one day, along with a card saying that she has been chosen to participate in the "Liar Game". In order to win the game, she must trick other players into giving her their 100 million yen while her opponents are left in debt.

The objective of the first round is to steal the 100 million yen that is issued to her opponent, Kazuo Fujisawa, a former teacher of hers, who easily deceives her, while preventing her opponent from stealing her 100 million yen. Before the round ends, she comes across Shinichi Akiyama, a genius swindler, who helps her to succeed winning the first round. However, after the first round, a second round of Liar Game awaits them.

The second round of the Liar Game is taken place in a mansion. The 22 players who won the first round are given a jewel worth 100 million yen each as "Game Money" as they compete in a game. The 22 players vote either "Yes" or "No" when asked a random question. The minority of the result survives and the majority leaves with a debt, 100 million yen. The final person gets the 2.1 billion yen, 2.2 billion yen minus their 100 million yen, as the prize. Akiyama enters (as a substitute for someone who doesn't wish to continue in the game), wins the game, and then decides to split the prize money so that Nao and the people they had teamed up with to win the game could pay their debt. However, after paying off everyone else's debt, Akiyama doesn't have enough money to pay the cost of dropping out himself. He decides to continue playing the Liar Game to find out who is behind it, and then loses all contact with Nao.

A week later, Nao enters the Liar Game Revival Round, for those who lost previous rounds of the Liar Game. She intends to win the Revival Round in order to get the money necessary to pay the cost for Akiyama to drop out. The Revival Round is a "downsizing game" that has eight contestants besides Nao. One will be eliminated while the remaining eight will proceed to the third round. At the end of the Revival Round Nao is able to win and take everyone else's money with Akiyama's help. Nao figures that the Liar Game is actually a competition for people to be honest and upstanding: in each round, the LGT gives 100 million yen to each player and collects it at end of each round. But if the winner of each round gives back all the money to the other players and doesn't use their extra money to drop out, the LGT does not make a profit. This means that no one loses if everyone cooperates, but everyone loses if one person decides to become greedy for him or herself.

Soon the third round begins. Akiyama and the 8 winners of the Revival Round go in a bus with blacked-out windows to an abandoned airport, the location of the game. The game of the third round is the "contraband game", a team game in which each team must smuggle money out of an opposing country so it can be transferred to a third country. The two main countries in this game are labelled "Northern Country" and "Southern Country", and are represented by two adjacent rooms. Each team will take turns being smugglers and customs officials. When a team is the smuggling team, they must select one team member as the smuggler. The smuggler will get a briefcase, and take money from the fictional bank account and put it in the briefcase. Each player gets 400 million yen total: 100 mil already in the third country, and 300 mil in the opposing country. The briefcase can hold a maximum of 100 mil. The customs official team will select one member to be the customs official for that team. The smuggler and customs official will be put in a soundproof room with a one-way window for 10 minutes. During that time, the customs official can ask the smuggler questions, watch the smuggler's body langauge, etc, to figure out how much money is in the suitcase. They cannot touch the smuggler or briefcase. When the customs official is ready, they press a button (to disable the soundproofing) and say either "Pass", signifying they don't believe any money is in the briefcase, or "Doubt", signifying they believe the briefcase contains money. If the customs official says doubt, they must also say how much money they believe is in the briefcase. Thus there are four possible scenarios:

Scenario 1: Customs official passes. If this is the case, the smuggler has successfully smuggled any money in the briefcase.

Scenario 2: Customs official doubts, but there is no money in the briefcase. If this is the case, the smuggler will receive an indemnity from the customs official equal to half the amount of the money the customs official declared.

Scenario 3: Customs official doubts, and the amount of money in the suitcase is equal to or less than the declared doubt (unless the amount of money is 0). If this is the case, the smuggle is unsuccessful, and the customs official gets all the money in the briefcase.

Scenario 4: Customs official doubts, and the amount of money is greater than the declared doubt. If this is the case, the smuggler successfully smuggles the money and the smuggler receives an indemnity equal to half the declared doubt from the customs official.

The objective of the game is to smuggle all 300 mil in your bank account in the opposing nation out. The game will consist of 50 rounds; one round is having each team be the customs official team and the smuggling team once. After the 50 rounds, the team that has smuggled out the most money wins, and any money that remains in the bank accounts of the opposing country will be divided evenly between the members of the opposing team. There is an opportunity to win much money in this round. Not only because each player gets 400 mil as opposed to 100 mil, but because there are several ways to get money: from smuggling as the smuggler, from receiving indemnities as the smuggler, from catching smugglers as the customs official, and from the other team's unsmuggled money at the end of the game. It is revealed that the Akiyama and the 8 winners of the Revival Round are one team, the Southern Country, and 9 new characters form the Northern Country.

Genshiken

Another Anime that I have re-watch, Genshiken! I think this show is rather interesting because it show how otaku live in japan university and shows what activity they have done during these 3 years in ther school life.

The story begins with the introduction of Kanji Sasahara, a shy, confidence-lacking freshman who on club day at university, decides to join a club he would actually enjoy, Genshiken. Rewatch Dragon zakura

This weekend quite boring, other than exercise, nth to do lol. So i decide to rewatch some japan drama. The first japan drama that i rewatch is Dragon Zakura. Long time didnt watch and its still interesting and NICE!



Synopsis:

My thoughts for this show

Its quite nice and interesting to see how poor in studies student study so hard and aiming for Todai, Japan number 1 university. It tell us that no matter how weak you are, how poor you are in your studies, if you have the determination to do it, you can do it!

Although not all of them able to enter Todai in their first try but they have the "Never Give Up" spirit that push them till this far. If not, those student will not be able to have their own aim in their life. Its quite realistic show because in the end the result its not perfect and this is how life is about.

Well if you have the time try to watch this show, it may inspire you to aim higher in your studies as well as in your life!

About Go:

Go is a strategic board game for two players. It is known as wéiqí in Chinese (Traditional: 圍棋; Simplified: 围棋), igo (囲碁, igo?) or go (碁, go?) in Japanese, and baduk in Korean (hangul: 바둑). Go is noted for being rich in strategic complexity despite its simple rules. Go originated in China, where it has been played for more than 2500 years. It is most popular in East Asia, but has gained some popularity in the rest of the world in recent years.

Go is played by two players who alternately place black and white stones on the vacant intersections of a grid of 19×19 lines. The object of the game is to surround a larger portion of the board than the opponent. A stone or a group of stones is captured and removed if it has no empty adjacent intersections, the result of being completely surrounded by stones of the opposing color.

The same basic storyline is followed by the manga and anime, with a few small changes between the versions. While exploring his grandfather's shed, Hikaru stumbles across a Go board haunted by the spirit of Fujiwara-no-Sai, a fictional Go player from the Heian era. Sai wishes to play Go again, having not been able to since the late Edo period, when he possessed the body of Hon'inbō Shūsaku, an actual Go player of that period. Sai's greatest desire is to attain the Kami-no-Itte (神の一手) – "Divine Move", or the "Hand of God" – a perfect game. Because Hikaru is apparently the only person who can perceive him, Sai inhabits a part of Hikaru's mind as a separate personality, coexisting, although not always comfortably, with the child.

Urged by Sai, Hikaru begins playing Go despite an initial lack of interest in the game. He begins by mimicking the moves Sai dictates to him, but Sai tells him to try to understand each move. In a Go salon, Hikaru defeats Akira Toya, a boy his age who plays Go at professional level, by following Sai's instruction. Akira subsequently begins a quest to discover the source of Hikaru's strength, an obsession which will come to dominate his life.

Hikaru becomes intrigued by the great dedication of Akira and Sai to the game and decides to start playing solely on his own. Through training at Go clubs, study groups, and practice games with Sai, he manages to become an insei and later a pro, meeting various dedicated Go players of different ages and styles along the way. While Hikaru is at this point not yet up to the level of Akira, he demonstrates a natural talent for the game and remains determined to prove his own abilities to Akira, Sai, and himself.

3rd week of FYP

3 weeks of FYP just fly off, didn't really do much stuff, but its nice to make new friends and get to work on new stuff which is electronics lol. I was posted to blk L339, the only place in blk L which contain MIT people. Because almost all MIT student except us, are in blk S. Although we are in different blk, but it is more carefree compared to blk S which have DT to supervise the student.

We chat laugh and walk walk also no one care because we have no DT and such a great time will be over soon since we are moving to blk s and the most important thing is that I am put together with Vincent n the same room. Only 6 people not including me move into the same room as me and the others move to different room.

I also have been training about 3 weeks, non stop training then today decide to take a rest to relax my muscle so that i can do more weight training tomorrow. 23rd is the napfa test then 20 jan is the last as I mention on my previous post. Hope i can do well on the 23rd, but i don't think I can see the result of my training yet. So hope everything comes smoothly!

IAP over!

Finally 12 weeks of IAP is over. Feel a bit sad leaving the place, after all it's been 60 days of work in DSO. Also miss my workplace and the staff over there, all very helpful, always help me to improve my project research. But off course, I am new to R&D kind of stuff and my programming knowledge of C# is still not up to standard, thus the output of my work is not quite good. My electronics works also quite CMI(cannot make it) cause only learn to solder for 2 days and I have to complete soldering tons of LED in 2 days so the soldering part may not look very good. But after seeing the evaluation form that my supervisor has marked, I feel very happy and like a bit too good since i expect some poor evaluation on quality part but nevertheless I still quite delighted.

I brought my supervisor and another staff a small gift and a letter that thank them for looking after me during this 12 weeks of attachment. Also I also like to thank all the other staff due to my budget i can only afford to buy gifts only to 2 people. As for the rest of the staff, I have as my supervisor to thank you! Although my supervisor has meeting on Friday and didn't see him but he still give me this best wishes through sms.

After that we went to hand over the pass down at science park, then chat with the security guy and he say want to join DSO? Then we were like.... Then i reply, whether DSO want us or not lol. But the security guy say sure can, but if want higher salary, then must go for degree if not only 1K+ nia for Dip holder.

Then we leave science park and went home, well this maybe or may not be the last time going to DSO. Well hard to say! Cya DSO, may we meet again!

Finally US president election is over! Obama won and Mccain lost. Well this is nt an unexpected result, is quite obvious who win who lose. Obama policy had help him alot and after i read through Mccain policy, i realli dont like it because he will continue the Iraq war until they gain victory and onli cut taxes for the rich. But on the other hand Obama will not continue the Iraq war and will cut down taxes for all US people. If you were a normal citizen, u would probably go for Obama because it will help the citizen to save taxes and no more war for US. Well left with 77 days before Obama step into the white house. Well we will see how it goes..... Congrats US for having Obama as the president...

Today went to gym wif wx and roger, stamina still veri poor haiz. Think nid to train veri hard liao, run for 18 min onli run 2.6km fail liao sia lol. Think during FYP better train as much as possible if not napfa will fail until veri jia lat.

After gym we went bishan, i didnt have late lunch cause quite full and at home gt cooked, wx and roger ate omelet rice like quite nice and the cost is quite reasonable since wx and roger say it nice. Then we went swensen to eat ice cream. I eat scope of ice cream and is nice and filling. eat until damm full. All the workout i have done and the calories i have burn have return back in a sec lol.

Ahh sian tml nid to wake up early again, but nvm 15 more days to go and hope my project will finish soon :) Cya!

End of October!

woo end of october liao, that means left with 3 more weeks then my IAP will be completed! time past veri fast i rmb on september the first, just started counting down for my IAP which is 60 days, and now it only left wif 15 days. Hope the rest of the 15 days will be a nice one! Crap! which means my final presentation is coming soon! sian y onli me tio presentation nia, sway sia haiz... nvm tats life, a game of LIFE lol

Finally my first presentation is OVER! Quite nervous although is a small presentation nia but is DONE YAY. Next presentation will be in 3 to 4 weeks time haiz need to modify my program and do new program again.... Hope can get it done!

Suki Sushi

Today is a public holiday! Went suki sushi with my poly friends. Wah eat until veri full sia.. cost around 23 bucks quite ok la since we eat ALOT! Then we play bleach with each each other, is veri fun and nice but since i first time playing, i lose alot lol. After that we went to kino to see wat new manga is on the shelf and went to see programming bk but is sian de cause everyday programming lol. Then went to magazine section to read some biz mag, then we read about the NS stuff, on how to get into PES C lol. NS days is drawing near so feel like knowing more about NS life would probably help.

After that we went to far east to accompany alvin to buy Halloween costume, he bought the skull mask and a cloak, quite nice and scary lol. After that we went home and on the train we discuss about taking driving theory test, and also talk about ERP and also say how ERP works in the future lol.... But hope that it wont come true...

Wah realli old liao run for 10 min ++ then tired like siao, actually after gym we goin to wx house play badminton de, but lz suddenly say next day then go then i was like LL lol, then sms to wx say badminton cancel. Then today on train when i was thinking on my project, i suddenly pop up an idea, which use wiimote to act as a controller for gameboy emulator or PS emulator, since using keyboard may not as fun as using normal gameboy control, so i decide to use wiimote to act as gameboy control to control the game. Tonight i will start this project see whether it works or not.

yay its friday again, but is a tiring one because i have to rush for the presentation. and now then i realize all these 3 years in poly the presentation that i have done is totally WRONG!!! OMG... But nvm i have learn from my mistake. Projects! Wiimote!

Wiimote is just a normal remote for Wii. But now after much research many people especially Johnny Chung Lee has come out with creative ideas such as whiteboard and DesktopVR. The most popular application is whiteboard because a normal commercial whiteboard would cost around 2k to 3k ++. But using wiimote it will cost less then a hundred bucks. isnt that worth a lot?

Johnny Chung Lee is now a PHD partly due to this project that he has done. He realli inspire me to do more research other than wiimote. I think this IAP instead of wasting time, it make me want to learn more about different stuff and improve areas like programming, electronic, R&D and lots more!

Hope after IAP i will have time to start my wiimote project!

Recent Event

sian haven get my allowance yet. haiz still gt 5 more weeks b4 i finish my IAP. Seems like every Sat always going out. feeling damm tired. But well 5 more weeks to go and i am getting more and more interested in doing wiimote project. Using a simple stuff also can create a big hoo ahh. Think this kind of stuff is suitable for me rather than those school projects which are not as challenging as this.

Hope i can make something out of it hahaha. Well sad thing is that not many people to talk with in office cause in my floor only 2 IA student including me then i was like wth.....

MRT gt many interesting scene everyday, and also packed with lots of people in the morning and in the evening. and i common thing i found out is that, many people especially in the evening, tend to block the exit and try to rush in to grab a seat. I was like wth, let people come out first mah then go in. Well next time i wont be surprise when those who try to get out of the train to fight his/her way through the crowd lol.

The best thing that i like is when goin to work, gt see quite a number of chio bu walking around lol. But since its in the morning, i dont realli focus that much on chio bu rather on the newsapaper, since i am getting more and more interested in Obama and mccain battle. Also the economy in sg is realli interesting, seeing how company crush and helped by other organization. rather then that i am curious why they help those fallen company, to take over them or just needed them for their own survival? Because i dont realli think there's free food in the world.

This month gt lots of movie like 20th century printer.. no no i mean boy, A man who was a superman, and max Payne.. but weekend cannot go so veri sian because it will be 10 bucks if go on the weekend. Year 1 year 2 still da best since after sch can go watch movie if release early of lesson cancel lol.

Now i addicted to ice blended chocolate although is it quite ex but is worth it haha. i sore throat liao still drink think gona die soon hohohohoho.

so many thing happening

lots of things happen during september, firstly is freddie mae and freddie mac facing bankrupcy then after that is lehmen brother and which cause a stir in insurance holder of AIA. After that china milk found out to have melamine in it and it cause another stir throughout the world which inport china milk or dairy product which contain china milk product.

Later on electric bill increase by 22% OMG sia. then now i heard gt one NS men die during training.

Haiz so many things happening, wonder what will happen next sia, no should be nothing bad will happen. More good years ahead(by EDMW)

Results

Yesterday gt my year 3 sem 1 result, happy sia cause first time get all A lol. GPA for this sem is 4 woot. damm shiok, then my cumulative gpa is 3.865. increase by 0.032, quite alot sia. Then wat make me surprise is that my comm skill got A, i was like WOW NICE! cause my previous 2 comm skill result is B but this time round is an A. The rest of the module result is kinda expected which is A but another module tat surprise me is Real time, cause tat module is quite hard to understand but luckily last min i was able to understand the module is talking about if not GG.

Anyway, IA was quite interesting as the time goes on because i found out a lot of interesting stuff regarding my project.So i hope more interesting would be in my grasp soon hehehe

Left 10 weeks..

Another week of IA gone. I must say that the project given to me is quite challenging because now i not only need to deal with programming but also hardware stuff which makes me feels WOW. Learn lots of new stuff that i will never get to learn from school. Also its much more challenging than Mr.Edmund project and any other project that I have come across. Because all those school project mostly it comes with lots of help and it also limits to the things that we learn which makes thing easy for us to do, when we don't know just look the example from the lecture books. From IA I learn that programming is not as easy as we think it is also for other things like networking, designers, mobile, business, trading and many other stuff, needs to gain experience through working because in school we only expose to minimal amount of things that we need to know.

Also I saw many NUS student go to school early and do self study, and also they like no friends to help them because all of them only help themselves unless you got yourself a good tutorial mate, if not i think is GG. The only time when they got friend is when the time they doing their FYP. Other then that is live for yourself. Thats what i see and what i heard from those NUS student.

Well thats life, so be it, anything thats comes in your way, just overcome it. Thats what i always think.

Life is also a challenge, if no challenge, then you have no life. By James

First Week

Wow first time experience working in office, well is different from poly and secondary because everything need to learn from yourself. Well think its a good way to learn also, because books and lecturers are not the only way to learn. There are also internet and forum. These places makes me learn more things, things that I will not gain from books.

Well first week of IAP is over. Quite satisfy with the job. Hope everything go smoothly.

Next Level

Finally visited my workplace, yesterday one and today one. Yesterday one is inside NUS, and i think is quite good because there is canteen and lots of pretty gals there LOL.

Today I went to science park, which is the place i will be reporting in monday morning. Well its kinda quiet, maybe since saturday no one work, so is abit quiet.

Well hope it will go well and go smoothly....

Recently realli bo liao ended up playing pokemon games lol. but this time round is much easier than the first time i play. because gt guide for everything. if i dont know anything just google can liao. but still boring haiz cause it BLOODY EASY! Adios Year 3 sem 1

Adios Year 3 sem 1, looking forward to year 3 sem 2. A brand new semester, a semester which is totaly different from the previous 5 semester in NYP. Because it will nt just be studying, it would be attatchment and project time! have 7 days to slack b4 the IAP brefing. Hope I can make full use of this 7 days hehe....

Weird Dream....

I have a realli weird dream today, I dream about have 100k SGD in my bank, and this 100k SGD is provided my Triump Organization(the company of the apprentice). These money is for me to do business, the results means the profit earn will be my school result. But too bad i dont remember wat sch was i attending lol. I set up two shops in different area. One shop is like NTUC or cold Storage and another store sells shirts and games. And in this project I was given 2 person to help me wif this project. 1 is Chazz from yu gi oh GX and another one is yamashita Tomohisa(japan star). I put them in charge of the 2 store.

Then finally the store are ready to begin and I start advertising my store in TV station. Spend arounf 10k for ads. O btw I spend 30k for each store. So I left wif 30k for backup.After a few days i went to the shop where yamashita leads. Then i ask him how is it. He told me very badly done, there was no profit but loss, and the loss is about 800k SGD, i chua tio then see the account bk, then i say no nid to hire so many worker de mah. So he sack a few ppl. After that I ask him to maintain as much as possible, if not realli nid to use my backup plan liao.

Then I went to Chazz place, wow that shop is full of customer. Before I walked in, My mum wak me up for breakfast.zzzzz. Sian dont know how much that shop earn haiz

First time i watch finish an entire basketball match, Woman team, China VS USA. Expected result China lost to USA. I think is a 40+ marks different, but I think China did well. And the result of the olympic, China hold the most GOLDS about 13, tats yesterday result, today might be 14 or 15? and second place is USA who gt 7 gold medals.

Hope Singapore can get a medal, bronze also good lol. Then if next time yu gi oh is included in olympic, hahaha, then its time for me to shine! The KING OF GAME! LET THE DUEL BEGIN!

Today realli rot like hell, watch anime do portfolio(still thinking how to design haiz) then play richman, today win lots of time now lv 2 le lol. and yu gi oh sian still nid 5.8% of unique cards to become the king of game!.

Read naruto chapter 412 and latest bleach chapter, dont realli like the progress at ALL, make me wan to give up on both of them le.

still gt about 10 more days to the final boss for this semester which is exam 1 and onli EXAM! when i killed it, hahaha i will be promoted to rank IAP but still but see the result first lol.

Gaining more knowledge makes u less creative? Well i not sure but as i notice the enviroment the education system of singapore, i see that singapore student are less creative compare to USA student. Well if u give a USA student a secondary 1 maths question to both 13 years old student, singapore student will solve it quickly but not the USA student, this information i dont know heard from where de but I gt heard b4 de so must be true. But USA student is much more creative than singapore student as said in one of the report i forgot where liao lol. so i think the more knowledge u gain the less creative u will be.

One more thing tat i notice about people when opening door. Like in a public restaurant, the exit may have 2 doors. If u notice carefully, when both door is close, the first person will open one of the door. Then the rest will just follow the first person without opening the other door. Notice it you will find its 90% true. Unless both of them are chatting and walking side by side, even that 50% of the chance u will see tat happen. quite interesting, u can check it out when u go shopping or at school or anywhere. maybe only in singapore, well i dont know the other country.

This weekend!

This weekend is the best entire weekend that i ever had! No projects no homework but got test, didnt quite realli care lol. Slack at home, no should be rot at home look at my sexy laptop and the sexy laptop look at me. Thats the best tat I could ever ask for for this semester. HAHAHAHA! It's great!

Surfing website, and look at some website to gain insperation to create my new blogskin. But till now still cant get any. Then come across nyp forum, www.nypforum.com long time didnt go there le and it change, but then my account was deleted, think everyone's account has been deleted! But nvm just go there for fun! hehehe. Well its the same situation as the previous nyp forum, which is veri veri few ppl. onli like less then 10 active nia. Hope more ppl will join :)

Other then surfing web, I also gt watch anime lol and some jap drama. Continue watching yu gi oh gx again, realli feel like playing leh but must control, cause if I started to play again, I must spend lots of money again. So must control! Napfa first try

Ok is expected that i will confirm fail napfa. But some station did not meet my expectation. like for example shuttle run, i aim for 10.5 or less de, but when i get the first block, i slip abit and nearly lost my balance. Then spent some time to recover back my balance like 0.6 sec? then i was like wth fail liao. But lucky in the end gt 10.9. Although is a pass but not veri happi. Then 2.4km haiz run like mad dog. My thights is damm ache and pain cant lift up when i started running. but i force myself to run and dont walk during 2.4km and i didnt walk, i run/jog all the way. Then try to push LZ to run but in the end he gave up, its a pity though. haiz got 15.53 for 2.4km but tat time take like her eye gt stamp give me 16.32. If roger didnt tell me i also gong gong. But nvm la fail means fail. Then sit & reach lose to wen bin, i reach 52cm nia haiz lose him 1 cm. but ok la at least got an A for tat and sit up also got A . Pull up and standing board jump FAIL! hahaha expected!

But at least total point got 11, a double digit then i crush the cert on my way home the end!

3rd year first sem goin to finish, means that I old liao aiyo sian 1/2 sia if grad liao dont know wana continue study or not. If wana study also not sure study what, cause if I go uni, the chance of getting inot business course is nearly 0% cause only dip with merit then can easily chose their desire course in uni.

Haiz, blame myself too playful liao during the last 2 years in poly, take it for granted lol. But nvm in the end I will still follow my own path. NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES! muhahahahaha

Thinking about future..... hmmm if i could i would like to join the apprentice show then become mr.trump apprentice. because the work scope of that company is quite big, from construction to advertising to sales. Its like everything! and it seems interesting. But in the end I want to be come another my.trump - Mr. James! in singapore. Wah then it will be damm shoik sia!

Hope my dream can come true. Although is not easy but it worth a try!

Wondering y i take MIT(multimedia and infocomm) instead of business course rite?
me myself also not quite sure what to chose after i gt my result. Then i open the course booklet and saw the longest name in NYP then i chose. Simple! no nid to scratch head for courses. hehhehe thats not the onli reason la. It also because this course gt teach design and computer stuff mah and I am veri veri weak at these 2 stuff. So before becoming a business man, I need to brush up all my skills ares before goin to the society!

Of course I have pick up some pointer in designing and computer stuff. And at least i know wats goin on unlike when i was in secondary school. My friend say wats ur computer RAM ar. I will ans WTH is tat? Till now i alomost under all about computer except for some which i will try my best to understand it.

Wk 14 coming ....

Week 14 and week 15 is a veri veri hard week for me to survive. thats because those 2weeks are the deadlines for my projects! But if i can survive this 2 weeks, i will be happy and abit sad. Happy means that YES! no more projects to do and can rest. Sad means that left half year more before i graduate from NYP and that means NS coming. 2 years of exercise! Think shld be better for me since i growing fatter liao lol. oh well hope it goes well! Get decent grades, get decent job and get a average wife can liao thats my life. Inspired by Shikamaru lol.

Open source - 90% done
realtime - 90% done ( left with the option 5 bouns que)
Java - 80% done(left with validation and report)
NE - 100% done(dont even bother to touch)
Web 2.0 - -50% done (haven try to set up the dot net nuke)
ICT - 90% done (left wif the presentation)
Interview - 50% done (left kena interview)

By week 14 should be able to clear half of them, ICT and interview sure clear, open source think also will clear since i wana get the 10% extra. For realtime if monday i can do means can do if cannot then no choice dont do liao, cause i cant understand stylizer. Java shld left wif report. web 2.0 shld be abe to start tml if i can install dotNetNuke!

Finally going to finish ICT project liao LOL Sibei happy. Also hope that the Gantt chart is correct if not realli gg, not onli me and also wen bin. Also tuesday nid to present to teacher le, think tml nid to touch on powerpoint. But onli 5 min each person. Also no nid to use up all the 5 min also can. so the presentation will be quite short and sweet:)

Next thing, Java project, finally finish the edit user part, lol. wed afternoon then continue with tat. cause i promise the lecturer tat i will complete add, edit and delete for this project. Left with delete nia so will be finish soon!

Next is real time enterprise, the project at first i see liao damm blur, dont even know wat to do. Then the first section go sch Mr.Edmund help me and wen bin quite alot, if not we will not be abe to finish. Then on the spot, we present to him section one. That means section 1 clear!, this week i finally manage to complete section 2 option 1, 3 and 4 by my own. Woot quite happy. but receive abit help from jiew meng and roger on how the system works. And yes, these 3 option works! but not option 2 because my Axis 2 wizard gt problem cannot convert java to WSDL. haiz tml nid to ask mr.edmund for help again.

Mock interview haven prepare yet, tuesday then prepare if not sure forgot de lol. Cause tuesday early go home, so gt time to prepare.

Then this week we get our common test result, but the common test is not common since onli our class have 4 test while the other class onli have 1 or 2 the most.
But to my surprise, I did score well, beyond my expectation in Web2.0, database and Open Source. I also dont know why I can score well lol, especially web 2.0 and database, cause this 2 module I expect to get for web2.0 C+ cause realli difficult, and database B cause i screw up on question 12 which is about 10 marks? Lastly is open source, i tot i will score A because after teacher goin through the paper, I lose like 6-8 marks le, then i give myself 5 marks deduction if any careless mistake. But dont know y i get A+ then like happy sia LOL. Cause only 8 ppl gt A+ then total gt 3 class. Then heard from wen bin, he say like other class like all score quite well when goin through the paper. Then i tot ok, getting A also not bad since A gt 10 ppl gt it. But overall all these result are realli realli beyond my expectation.

Last one will be ICT, well dont know how well will i score, but teacher say our class did quite badly compare to other classes, and 1 of my "previous classmate" gt 100 marks, shld know is who and dont wana mention his name lol. Then teacher say i maybe gt 90+, MAYBE onli, then wb heard it, realli tot i gt 90+ then i zzzz. cause first 2 question i dont know how to do liao which cost me 12marks fly! how can i get 90+ when i gt 12marks fly away so i think teacher might see wrongly. But next week we shall know, maybe wb himself gt 90+ lol, well shld be expected since he is quite clever than me in terms of studies.

NAPFA OMG! on 23rd july. Receive this message from wx favourite person LIM LAY BENG!. Haiz due to common test and project, didnt realli train liao. See tat message I feel like I goin to NS 3 weeks earlier. cause those who get bronze or fail need to go NS 3 weeks earlier.But still need to train la, cannot fail so badly one mah. wait later no face. So im mrt I talk to LZ about napfa training. Then he suggest this week start, on saturday and sunday also. Then i say ok! I also suggest tat we keep training even though the napfa over, cause even if we pass or fail, still cannot stop. Recent case on Singapore 2 young man die duing NS training, they are poly student, then i heard that they are nt physically fit(nt sure is true or not) tats y i suggest tat we every sat and sun go jog or do some station(pull up, standing broad jump etc). Hulk within me!

Yesterday went watch the green man show call HULK. The movie is nice veri nice, espacially when the 2 hulk are fighting, like WOW nice sia. Me and wx share one popcorn, in the end still cant finish. Then alvin and lz also cant finish their popcorn. so no choice throw away since neither of us bring bags. Then still early, so we walk to orchard. As usual, lz and alvin talk about projects, well its expected. But its quite interesting to hear wat they are going to do. Oh ya gt one thing forgot to say, finally I saw wx wear his $90+ gothic shirt liao lol, quite nice sia. Feel like buying but no $$ haiz..... Difference between wx + P and me.

oh ya then we walk to orchard liao then i look around gt quite a few chio bu but didnt tell wx they all. LOL hahahaha. then we went to kinokuniya see manga, then read up some design and php bks cause realli nthing to read. after that we go find Lz, Lz reading pervert magazine LOL jkjk nia lol he read about game magazine. Then after that I saw TIME magazine, wah long time didnt read liao so i go read it. Then they all found some NS bk. Then i also go see see. Then when see the napfa section we like lan lan, then we say we go inside how how. Go in cannot come out lol mean fly liao la. since newspaper also gt say NS man die bla bla bla.

Then we go searching for our food cause dinner liao mah. Then we walk to a shopping center dont know call wat name, the sumi yakitori there. No pizza hut c ause we search for pizza hut. but there dont have. So we decided to go to PS, we walk and walk see chio bu again. But also didnt tell them. As we walk we dont know why we talk about japan stuff, saying their shop so advance bla bla bla.

Then FINALLY we reach PS, see walk one round come back to PS. Then we go see CJ, its FULL, mcdonal also full kfc also full everywhere also FULL. Then we sian 1/2. Then we say go where ar. then wx give a kiam pa suggestion. Mcdonal! then we say wah lao just now at somerset gt mcdonal didnt suggest. the he laugh laugh lor lol. Then we say aiya go hmm suntec, there sure gt space de and veri quiet de. Then we all agree since 1 stop nia. Take train and walk, our leg veri tired liao but still must tahan. Then finally reach CJ wooohoooo still gt space, then sit there and rest awhile then we go call food. I order famous star combo onli $8.80. I tot the fries quite small, burger also quite small de bah but still damm cheap compare to the previous time i come to eat. Then go get my drink and wait.

Alvin burger came first because he is the first one to order. Then finally mine came, I shocked sia the fries alot sia compare to last time I ate. I tot they give wrong then i count to ten no one come and take away then I start to eat LOL. See I good citizen sia. still count to 10. If give wx or Lz they sure eat liao without counting.

Finish eating liao quite full sia cant walk LOL. Then we ent to toilet. Wah sibei lucky sia i didnt walk into gals toilet. If not sure GG. Cause i tot the toilet at for men and woman same place one mah. If they all didnt warn me, i sure go in, but I think gals wont mind cause i so handsome lol. Then we walk back to mrt station. On the way we listen to wx history in mrt. the content cannot say sure get tio kan de lol. So we laugh laugh laugh.

Then after tat sleep in train..... until yck wx wake me up then say bb to him, after that is lz. Then go home liao. havent finish yet. continue


Reach home liao, then i took a bath, then on laptop get my ICT note then CHIONG AR! but chiong first 4 chap then tired liao slp.


The next day!

Wake up, on laptop chiong again. But still cant memorise some part which are scope, resource and schedule risk and last 2 part of chap 5. Then wb call me web 2.0 how, I also dont know cause i havn study tat yet. I tot will be quite easy since gt tips liao. Then at night i go read. I was like all bad words will come out. then my excitement/anger reach 2000+ become super hulk muhahahahahaha. Then come here write blog lol.

New handphone

Yay today gt my new handphone since my contract is nearly over. LOL. Now i also can send message liao sibei song! Last time I cant send message is because of message center problem. Dont know the number screw up then cannot send sms. But now can le lol.

Then today gt Sumsung U700 which cost $0. Thats because I renew my contract so i got myself a $0 handphone. This handphone is quite nice, but the problem is that, I forgot to save all the number in my sim card and deleted all the contact number in my previous handphone. Friends can give me ur handphone number? lol

Channel 5 show! The apprentice and Solitary

Latest episode on The Apprentice!
Yesterday show on apprentice, was pretty much expected, I mean the result, Arrow WON AGAIN! I think the first few weeks Kinatic won, so Mr.Trump call kinatic a star team. But yesterday result made Mr.Trump change his mind and recognize that Arrow is now the Star Team!(which is the best team). The Project manager of Arrow is James LOL same name as me but he is from korean, came to US when he was 3 years old. Ever since he become a project manager, Arrow Team keep winning and kinatic keep losing. Hope Arrow Team keep winning cause kinatic did not do realli well and did not meet MY expectation LOL. Tim from Arrow and Nicole from Kinatic are so call lover but they are seperated by James Since kinatic left onli 3 members. Inorder to balance it, 1 of the Arrow member need to go to Kinatic so James chose Nicole. At the end of the show, Nicole request Mr.Trump to make Tim go to Kinatic. Dont know whether Mr.Trump will listen to her request. We shall see lol.

How both team work on yesterday project!

Arrow: They set up a booth which allow more customer to buy the tickets, and they have 2 member running around and sell tickets. They also give free mineral water for those who bought tickets from them. They use "dirty" methods by snatching customers from Kinatic. In the end they earn $31,000.
Comment from Trump: Snatching customer from other competitor is common in the business world, I think that ya Team Arrow should be the star team instead for Kinatic. Congrats Team Arrow, tml you will be sitting on the personal helicopter and take a view of New York!

Kinatic: All team members wear roller skates, and go search for their customer. This method is call hunting. Using this method is not enough because using this hunting strategy, not onli u may have to face ur competitor, u may also miss out ur potential customer. Why because since they travel around, they onli be seeing 50% of their customer, what about the other 50%? they will be wandering around and went up to their competitor booths.(my own comment LOL) The amount they earn are $24,000. They lost as expected!
And their project manager who is a gold olympic player, had been fired! Because she did not protect herself well and other member say she too weak so, YOU ARE FIRED!(The best part of the whole apprentice)

Next Show Solitary
Think many ppl heard before this show. This game is to test each person endurance, see how people face diffculties and stress inside a small room. Without sleep and given little amount of food and not only that, there are lots of test to be done. 3 ppl cant take it or quit this test and left onli 6 ppl fighting for $USD 50,000. Who will win? We shall see

The test that they took for past few weeks!


The first test given was that subjects had to stay in the box and try to count up to 3hours inside the box on their own before they get out.

The one closest to 3 hours wins [credits to RoTtEn] and number 8 came out as the champion for the test. He did not have to take the upcoming treatment which was...

A bed of nails. The other 8 had to stand on this bed of nails [well not those sharp ones, those VERY large and rounded ones] for as long as they could. They could use a comforter for the first round, following that, bare footed from the 2nd round onwards.

Well, before the treatment even started, Number 4 broke down and pushed the red button. She was the first to be eliminated.

The treatment caused Number 1 to push the red button first and he was eliminated. The treatment [total elapsed time: 2hrs 46mins] was won by Number 2.



Test 2 > Subjects had to read out a message consisting of 59 words. Varying speeds caused them to suffer. In order to read the message again, they had to carry 100 bricks from one side to the other. In the end, Number 7 won the test and did not have to take the treatment, which was...

Carrying 30% of their own body weight using a dummy. They had to move in rounds, just like a waltz with the dummy. Number 7 who won, was the controller and decided to penalize Number 9. Number 9 had to do an extra round before the rest.

During this treatment, MANY contestants failed to complete their rounds and had to do penalty rounds. In the end, Number 5 pushed the red button first. However, Val decided to be nice this time and did not eliminate him.

In the treatment, Number 3 and 9 prevailed [even though number 9 had a penalty round]. Seems like if Number 9 gets to act as a controller...hehehehe



Test 3 > Setting up dominoes [how fun!] while trying to sustain their desperate hunger. They had 400 pieces of dominoes to use and had to fully use both tables and 2 bridges to set up the dominoes in such a way that pushing just one will allow all to fall. Before that, they were asked to choose any food they wanted to eat. Number 2 won in the test and could enjoy a delightful dinner with a WHOLE ROASTED CHICKEN [omg] and some other stuffs. The next treatment was......

The Solitary Smoothie - Each subject had to drink down a smoothie consisting of both theirs and their subjects favorite foods...only that it was blended. and mixed together.

These were the following foods mixed in the smoothie. Every time they passed one round, one more food will be added into the blender.

1) Banana [yum!]
2) Yogurt [Banana Yogurt!]
3) Pancakes...[this is where things start getting really disgusting]
4) Frosted Flakes
5) EGGS BENEDICT [OMG O_O eggs, bacon all mixed into the other 4 foods?!? YUCKS]

In the end, number 5's body could not handle the mixtures and he puked first. He was the first to give up [well his body did] and was eliminated.
